What We Monitor

What We Monitor: Wildlife

It is important to monitor wildlife species such as birds, fish and turtles, as they can be the first to exhibit the effects of environmental change. Armed with binoculars and wildlife guides, Friends of the Bay staff and volunteers identify the wildlife observed at each water monitoring station.
